[HipHop Piano - Art Syndicate]

Criticism

The piano is really quiet first of all. Also I don't think the beat works WITH the piano. They need to line up more with the kick and snare accentuating the piano chords. As it is the beat sounds very simple and bland.

I couldn't really discern any real melody or anything in the instruments, and the beat seemed kinda all over the place, but it DID work on some level. So I would say work on tightening up the beat, getting rid of things that maybe don't belong in a hip hop beat, and get a bassline in there. Also try to make the tunes that are sort of in the background at the moment "pop" more, make them real concise and catchy. Hope this helps.

Really good!

I like it a lot. It flows really well and nothing sticks out. I could see this being in a movie! Maybe a pointless review as I didn't suggest anything, but I really can't think of anything to suggest.

What's good about this? As "voice acting" it's sub-par. As singing it's even worse. Of course, I've never heard the original, maybe it sucks too...

I love this, I just love it. It really gets my heart pumping and it's really fun. I feel what lidlurch is saying but I think that the things he lists as cons really give this track character and make it unique and exciting. Keep it up man.

Nice

I like how well the instrument's parts go together, but it would have been better if they went together a little more seamlessly. The piano parts sometimes were out of time with the rest but, overall, those aside, really good.

The piano is staggered on purpose to give the song a very distinct feel, and make it a little unpredictable.
