Oh yeah, I've had this downloaded since you posted it but for some reason the version that downloads is quieter than the one that plays here.

Why I didn't review I don't know. At first I was like Oh hell yeah, I gotta remix this into a beat. But it's already so sick how it is, it's got this silky smooth feel, and the bass is perfect. I want a longer version with some licks layered around. But yeah it's sweet how it is, just looping.

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Oh man this was a while ago. I wouldn't even remember the notes to it. I got the clicky noises by flipping the switch on my amp on and off.

Thanks for digging it!

sick! Goes hard as fuck at 1:04 and I like all the switch ups. are those your original sounds, playing with a synth? cool shit dog. and yeah newgrounds ain't that great these days.

GhostlyDoobies responds:

thanks man! i was using a melody i came across on fl studio and was playing with the sample of it. I think I know what you mean.

Mad cool! I love the minimalist feel of the beginning, really reminds me of Tennyson, if you haven't heard them, do yourself a huge favor.

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

Oh yes! I love Tennyson and I am inspired by them. But this song was primarily inspired by "Nice Feelings" - Maxo x Jonathan.

Def hearin the boards of canada type ish. love that snare.

BOULLIE responds:

Now I have to find out who they are to avoid biting >.>

Daamn, funky! Cool track, drums go real well, and bassline backs up the samples nicely.

libbyshimmz responds:

Thanks B!

Flow sickness! The mix could be clearer I think, couldn't make out some words, but the schemes and flow here are dope!

SucoVidya responds:

yeah even the instrumental mix needs work. I'm drunk af atm and was when I added the drum loop to the original track. not to mention writing and recording too. Inspiration makes you do weird shit when ya drunk.

Siick. I love your swing man! That snare/clap SLAAAAPS, then that kick doubles up in places, subtle but it rocks. Your samples are also very subtle and I like that, it's a sweet vibe without over-bombarding the palate. I gotta use thisssss.

Anjovi responds:

thanks man! sounds good, i'll definately check it out if it makes its way on here.

Coool man! Loove Dorothy Ashby. great material.

libbyshimmz responds:

Thanks B!

word. pretty intense. Bassline could use some progression, and some notes seem to clash but it sounds cool otherwise.

Xorberax responds:

Thanks!

Sounds cool! Love the feel, the drum tones with the bass during the main heavy parts are sweet. The piano going offbeat a little on the quieter parts bothered me a bit. But overall a great vibe here.

GhostlyDoobies responds:

thanks! yeah, it bothered me too but no matter which way i rearranged it it came out like that because the song it's self was off tempo but i made what i could work. I love digging for samples and vinyls. :D especially the underground/creepy stuff. i just wish i could get in touch with everyone again and talk and collab and chill, ya know.

I like to make music.
