way cool! I think it goes without saying actually cause your tracks are always chill and dope. I really like those voice things too man, they're quirky and give it character. Nice nice track. I could hear this on the alternative station for sure, with stronger vocals. What is there is good but needs more presence. On the whole this is an absolutely excellent song. It's a real shame to see you go, you have a ton of talent, work in so many genres, and seem to always make something beautiful in a pretty unique way. Hope you can still fit in a little time on the side for little creative outbursts like these.

You may be right about the bass, probably what's giving your sample a heavy hiss, I run into that a lot. Sounds nice though. Maybe a bit repetitive. You usually pull it off well, when you're doing paddy type sampling, might be a bit much with the piano part that keeps playing (with one bass note the whole time!). Still... nice beat, sounds ominous.

Ha! The bass note's part of the sample, bet I could edge it out and add my own though. The hiss is from the hats in the sample. You know, quintessential slow snare scrape jazz shit.

Thank you a fuck ton for your honesty, I knew the bass was weird. Originally this was supposed to go in the private stash but i got curious as to what others would see in it.
