Fuck man you just went completely ham. Now this is some modern hiphop I can rock to. It seems to be missing of few of the bells and whistles you usually do but I guess that goes with the genre.

Oowee! Lovely soundscape, so intriguing. Beautiful. A little discordant here and there, but actually adds to it. At one point it felt like DMT.

Cool. Nice pinano, smooth loopin sample. Snare is very loud compared, I'd like to hear it blend with the rest of the band. Synths match pretty well, could be tweaked for like a wavy effect or something, just an idea. There's a spot where it goes completely quiet, that shows how the entire track could used a low key background ambience or something along those lines. Overall, it's a solid sound, that could use a little work.

If I were going for a track style I would have focused more on that, but for a battle beat, I try to keep it to 808s (mostly low bass and sub), a strong clap and a low high hat. Although I will be changing up the snare roll

Don't get me wrong, you're not wrong, if this was a beat for anything but a battle you'd definitely be right, but this whole beat is designed to be out of the way for MC's
