So our bills didn't get paid and I'm livin in the dark. I've been meaning to record more songs and make more beats, but we'll have to wait on that. But at least I can sit back and enjoy all you guys' stuff. Thanks NG and Soundcloud artists for keeping me entertained! I'll be back in no time. or some time. we'll see. shits dumb right now.

I believe I got most of my songs set up, I'm writin a few more, still need to choose a couple more beats, mostly using my own, but I'm also gonna use a few from some of my favorite producers on the NG portal. got some in mind. Also I have a mic now, a muuuuch nicer one. Now where to record? as in a booth. I'll figure it out, got some friends who do that.

True hip hop is a natural progression from blues, just as is rock n roll. We use whatever tools necessary to express ourselves through the creation of music, however simple or complex. Sure we've gone in many different directions with it, some not so meaningful, but the true meaning lies in the fact that anyone, whether you know how to strum a guitar or never played a lick in your life, can make music. Some go into it looking for monetary gain, others simply for the joy it brings to those who come to realize what they are capable of with just a computer, beat machine or lyrics. We don't just play music, cause we've found out how we can make it. And that's our real reward, no amount of money can replace that.

Why must I try to be different? I can't just make my hi hats tick tick tick, they gotta do some weird shit. same with kicks and snares. I can't get nothin to sound tight, it's got a stupid flavor to it always.

I'm having a hard time coming up with quality, catchy beats these days. Ah well, it's always a temporary thing. I DO have plenty of projects in progress, but nothing I've deemed worthy for upload as of yet. Perhaps I'll work on them some more or just wait till I have another stroke of inspiration and create something more worth listening or rapping to.
