Not bad, however I don't think this is exactly hip hop... your tags say funk, try that.

VitorCinira responds:

Yea you're right, I didnt founded the "funk" option before! It's ok now!

Fire. Sweet as hell
the kick and snare seem a little over powerful but they are not bad, you got some style wit it.
Choppage is nice, little bit sloppy/rough round the edges but I liked it nevertheless.
can't speak on the bass because bad speakers haha
anyway keep it up you're improving a lot

Ohhh. I like a lot.... Especially for rapping.
I think the drums are fine, but could break down a little in various places.
but man oh man, so chill and nice

Hell yeah. Real groovy man, the drum sample is definitely unexpectedly raw and kickass, but seems to loop a little sloppy. I like the samples and bassline a fuck lot, but I think it needed some more diversity when you turn off the sample round the middle and also when you turn off the bass round the second half. maybe some calm piano chords for the background so it'd be less empty, idk, just ideas. Otherwise lovely song. keep it up soothsage!

kinda sick man. I like the sample, yes, and I like the bass. I think the kick and snare/clap could be a little more powerful, it'd really slam wiht the drum pattern you got goin on. I know it's only a preview or whatever, but it needs something more, something to fill the background. keep workin, I know you're goin somewhere with all of this, I wanna hear the finished products most of all haha

DJDureagon responds:

nah, not going anywhere.

I like. it's a good beat, the samples sounded good too but were maybe a little sloppy or something, it's a nice sound but some parts don't flow melodically. besides that, I like it a lot, the arrangement just needs sprucing up.

DJDureagon responds:

I think i know what you mean. I'm just not sure i want to make that change. Im not saying its intentional or anything. I'm kind of known (not really) for my sloppy sample work. In this case im having a hard time hearing what you are describing. On a side note. All of my tracks here that are the usual 1 minute in length are like beta beats. They will have more work done to them.

Very sweet. I like the subtle melody changes leading back to the loop, and the vocal samples jizzed in there fit well. LIke you said it's got a softer vibe, the horns are very nice. I like when the bass comes in to fill the void of the samples if you know what I mean, it sort of gives a break to the sounds. I did feel like the snare/clap/snap or whatever could have been cut slightly shorter, but it's a very minor thing that doesn't detract from the overall feel. Keep it up man.

I like a whole lot the drums, love drum patterns that aren't too run of the mill. The beat has a great ambiance to it, it's dark and mysterious, I like that. The samples were good but needed to change up, and maybe take a change of pace. second beat, nice sounding too
of course I'm listening through speakers with not much bass, so I can't comment on that
keep up the original shit yo

Very smooth. Drums are very natural and nice, and you worked your samples perfectly, nothing seems out of place. This kind of beat is where it's at for freestylin.

DJDureagon responds:

I was going for somehting laid back and sort of just a quite jam

Ditto SJD.
You got a natural path to excellent music what with all the original composition you be doin. Impressively unique and stylish, almost always. Keep it up. I looove weird, unorthodox sounding beats

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Thanks! Next time I'll go weirder.

I like to make music.
