Doesn't sound like R&B to me. And after a while that high pitched synth started to hurt my ears. An okay track.

Yeah, I played with turning the synth down, but I decided to leave it where it was.
I think you're right about the genre, not sure what I was thinking. I'll switch it back to hip hop

Sorry, I don't have the capabilities at the moment of recording my voice to put into the song, but even if I did, I probably wouldn't. What I post on Newgrounds are just the Finale versions of my songs; this means that they aren't finalized yet. I have every intention of performing these songs in a band in the future.

As to the reason why I included the lyrics without having actual singing, this was just done for completion purposes. They are just there to display, I suppose... I don't believe I would feel right if I uploaded the song without them. Either way, thanks for the review =]

Edit for anyone watching in the last decade: I synthed all of of my vocals because I didn't have the tools to do so. Also: they sucked. My lyrics were very middle school, and duh, old Newgrounds. Why are you here?

I agree

it's very repeptitive and never really takes up. I suggest setting up a better pattern for the drums. Even something generic sounding, in the hip hop category is alright. The snare being where it is really started to get to me. The music behind the drums though, are awesome sounding. I would love to hear this with a more regular sounding beat. Also: Bears.

That's what monks do, singing two notes at once, it's pretty hard to learn.
